spousal support in california

My annual salary is 95K and my spouse is 40K. We are

filing a divorce after 14 year of marriage with 2 children ( 14 and 12 yrs old). She asks for spousal support even after filing with family support attorney for child support of $1900 a month. once the divorce case is presented in court. will the judge will award her the spousal support, if yes then please give me an approximate amount of spousal support. I am engineer and she work as case manager for county attorney office of family support.

It is probable that the court will grant her spousal support in addition to the child support, but there is no formula for awarding the spousal support like there is for child support. It will depend upon the community standard of living during the marriage, her need and other factors. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
