Spousal Support

A divocing couple (married 12 years) make approximately the same amount of money per month, does the husband owe the wife alimony?

The law on spousal support declares it to be serious legal obligations. The court may order a party to pay for the support of the other party an amount, for a period of time, that the

court determines is just and reasonable, based on the standard of living established during the marriage. There is an attempt at balancing of incomes. Spousal support may be stipulated to in a marriage settlelment agreement. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504.
