spousal support

ive been divorced 3 years, me and my 18 yearold son moved in with my boyfriend 5 monthes ago.i receive 300.00 a mo.alimony. my ex wants to terminate the agreement, my boyfiend and i did have a committment ceremony in sept. we pay our own bills. my income hasnt changed bills are the same.i did rent my house out and make about 100.00a mo. on it.what are his chances of termanating my support?

The family code provides that there is a presumption of a reduced need for spousal support if you cohabitate with a person of the opposite sex. This would place the burden upon you of convincing the court that spousal support should not be reduced.

Terminating, or even changing spousal support is generally based upon "changed circumstances." It would be up to a judge if he were to request such a modification.
