spousal support

If a man is required to pay spousal support until

his ex-wife remarries, what happens if the ex-wife

enters into a domestic partnership with someone

of the same sex? Isn't that the equivalent of

marriage?

The length of spousal support depends on many factors, primarily length of the marriage. If she is co-habiting with another male there is a presumption that she has a reduced need for spousal support. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
