Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can I get my Spousal Support modified? And how?

I was married for 18 years. My divorce has been final for 9 months. We signed an MSA, and it stipulates, under the matter of Spousal Support,

''Husband shall pay for the benefit of the Wife, as

AND for spousal support, Wife's auto insurance

premium of ($$) per month.

and shall continue until.......etc. etc.

Am I able to get this order modified? And how do I go about it?

Thank You so very much for taking time for my question.

Under the terms as you recite them, spousal support is modifiable. You should consult with an attorney to determine whether you want to file such a motion. You could file a motion to modify and get an order that costs you more money. Also, there must be a change in circumstances since the time that you entered into the MSA. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
