Re: spousal support
You file a Notice of Motion and Motion in the court which issued the origional support order.
Re: spousal support
You will be able to reopen your family law case by filing an Order to Show Cause motion requesting a modification of spousal support. However, before filing this motion I recommend that an attorney should review the orginal final Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage and further make an evaluation of the parties circumsntances like change of each party's needs, assets, and earnings before filing the Order to Show Cause. If you like me to review the Judgment and provide you with some information as to your legal rights and avenues you may call my office at 310-839-7700 for a free initial office consultation.
