Spousal support from 1st husband after divorcing 2nd husband

Exparte 04/1985 TRO/DV the Judge of the court reserved jurisdiction for Spousal Support (even though I told him all I wanted was Child Support because of the long term physical violence - no police records because husband would lose job) 02/1986 in Judgment MSA. Long Term Marriage. I remarried and am now divorced. I have been disabled for about a year now and it is due to the physical violence and depression that has followed me throughout these years.

I want to ask for Spousal Support due to the above because of these facts and that I am 51 years old and SSI, although application made and denied, requests that I seek all avenues for support while going through the approval process.

My injuries are in my spine which has caused additionally problems to my knees, arms, shoulders because I use these areas of my body to support the problems with my back. I have a cane for any long term walking ...

He is a Captain of the LAPD and has always made a substantial income.

What do I do?

Your failed marriage probably terminated the first husband's obligation to pay spousal support. Get all of the court papers from the first divorce and the termination of the second marriage. Do this before you take any other action.
