Spousal Tort Case

I need advice about bringing a tort case in addtion to a disolution. Briefly, Wife married a man who turned out to be a sex ofender, abused her and the children, etc., etc. Is this possible in California?

This case goes beyond tort law. If anyone was sexually abused please contact your nearest rape counseling center immediately. Also, contact the local District Attorney's office. This is a criminal matter that should be dealt with immediately.

You may also want to seek immediate custody of any minor children in the abuser's care.

Lastly, you mentioned a dissolution in passing. Your wife married this man...Is your divorce final?
