New Spouse and Child Support

I'm marring a man who has to pay child support, I have two children of my own that I'm resposible for. How can I precent his ex from using my income to increase her child support?

Re: New Spouse and Child Support

Typically, the court will only look at your income if the man is denying any income, or if he is under-reporting his income and it's detrimental to his children from the prior marriage. Especially in your situation, that you have your own children, it is highly unlikely that the court will look to your income.
