Legal Question in Family Law in California

Do I have to tell my spouse my physical address?

I want to move to a different address but I do not want him to know where my son and I live as I'm concerned he may harrass me and my future roommates. Can I keep this information confidential?

You will have to convince the court that there is good reason to keep your location confidential. Just your fear that he will harras you will not be sufficient. Get evidence of prior domestic violence, or harrassment. Then present this evidence to the court.

Re: Do I have to tell my spouse my physical address?

Are you guys going through a divorce? If so well then you would need to tell his attorney your address so they can send you court papers and other things like that. If youre not going through a divorce then no you dont need to. If you have any more questions please dont hesitate to contact our law office today at 760.243.5121 or just e-mail me back.

Thanks and God Bless
