Legal Question in Family Law in California
Staff abused authority to have relationship with daughter
I am not sure you can answer this question. I stayed at a shelter with my two daughters when I first came to California. The shelter had a staff member and a client that had harrassed my daughter(18). The staff did nothing to intervene and I lost my job because I thought my daughter was in danger. We finally moved and then my daughter was missing. I found out that the staff member had her at his house and had ''relations with her''. He has since been fired. How do I prevent this from happening to other families and do I have any legal rights? This was supposed to be a safe environment. The goal of a social service agency is to keep families together; mine was split up. If you can't answer this question for me, please direct me to someone who can. I also believe my youngest daughter and I may be in some danger due to the consequences of his behavior. Thanks for your help.

Re: Staff abused authority to have relationship with daughter
if you can give me a more detailed account of the harassment that occurred at the shelter, your daughter's legal age at the time of the harassment, if your daughter shares your beliefs that she was harassed or manipulated by this person and/or the shelter, i may be able to assist and/or represent you legally on this matter.
