Hello

i am starting the divorce prosses and i need some advice on how i begin i will be filing a fee waiver do i need to file that before i file my divorce papers?

In LA county you submit both the initial divorce paperwork and the filing fee waiver at the same time. You then go before a judge to see if you are granted the waiver. I imagine the procedure is similar in your own county. See the California courts self help center for more information

I agree with Mr. Walker. You can submit the fee waiver application at the same time as filing your petition. Be prepared, however, to pay the filing fees if the court denies your fee waiver.
