Legal Question in Family Law in California

Does a State of California Emergency Protective Order get put on public record? What about if it was never served? I am asking because I thought a EPO does not have a court case number as it's from Law Enforcement while other types of Protective/Restraining Orders are filed by the protected person and would have a case number. Also, does the information entered into CLETS have to match what is on the written EPO application?

Anthony Roach Law Office of Anthony A. Roach

I've noticed this morning that a great deal of people are posting the number "zero" as the relevant zip code. That information allows attorneys on Lawguru to identify potential conflicts, and advise people when they need to seek the advice of an attorney in another state. At this point, I will not answer any questions where people do not identify their zip codes, and I ask that other attorneys on Lawguru do the same.
