Legal Question in Family Law in California

What state do i need to file for custody change of my children if my divorvce was in kansas and i now live in california and my kids in texas? i am in the military too

Where the kids live controls jurisdiction, although any court that acquires jurisdiction keeps it until asked to transfer it. So you have a choice. You can file in KS, or you can file a petition in KS to transfer the matter to TX and then file for the change in TX.
