Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can the State sieze my corporate account?

I currently owe back child support and have not yet ammended my income with the court to reduce my future payments. The State has already siezed my personal account twice. I have funds in my S-corporate account. I am the sole owner of the corporate account and it has it's own EIN number. In the divorce, my ex wife wavied any claims to my corporation.

Question: Can the state sieze the funds in my corp account without notice?

Or will my ex have to file additional papers in court and bring me back to court for a judgement?

Thank you for your time.

Re: Can the State sieze my corporate account?

All of your property is subject for attachment for the payment of child support. Delaying in filing a motion to modify child support will only result in your continuing to accrue child support arrears at the higher rate.
