Legal Question in Family Law in California

out of state support order

I have a Mexican court order to pay child support since 2000, I work in Mexico and Live in Mexico, My ex. moved with out my or the court permission to California 5 years ago, now she wants to register the support order in California.

Does the SAn Diego court has Jurisdiction even If I live work in Mexico and Have a prior court order from a Mexican court?

You should consult with an attorney who has experience with mexican and american laws. There are international treatys which govern child support and custody.
