status of a divorce case after 5 years
if i file divorce, and never complete the case, what will happen after 5 years? will the case become invalid case, which means our status still married? or it will become valid automatically: i am divorced?

filing a petition is only the first of many steps to dissolving a marriage. if you don't complete each step, you'll remain married. if you no longer want a divorce, then withdraw your petition.
