Legal Question in Family Law in California

Is there a statute of limitations on when a divorced spouse can file a QDRO for spouse's retirement plan? Spouse will turn 65 in two weeks. Enjoinder on the retirement plan in 1998. Divorce occurred 12/1/2000.
