Legal Question in Family Law in California

What is the first step to take to change a custody agreement between divorced parents. We have 50/50 everything right now, but I want to change the physical custody to 90/10. My ex-husband is ok with this since the children already reside with me 90 percent of the time as is. I just want this to be set in stone (so to speak) what should I do exactly?

If you both agree, you can file a Stipulation and Order regarding custody and visitation that reflects your current arrangement. If he will not agree to sign the Stipulation, you need to file an Order to Show Cause to modify custody and visitation. Good Luck.
