stop child support

how do i stop child support in california. per divorce papers, i can stop paying, but my wages are garnished. i am a postal worker.

Give your employer and DCSS certified copies of your Judgement. If they continue to pay, you will have great difficultly getting the money back. In some circumstances, I've had to do to enter a zero support order and get an order for reimbursement for overpayment.

You need to have the proper notice given to your employer showing the court ordered child support to stop.
