Legal Question in Family Law in California

How do I stop my financial responsibility toward the obligation of ongoing, never ending onslaught of therapy family counselor bills that my ex wife has the children seeing? My ex wife also sees this counselor herself privately. My children are stable, happy, getting great grades in school and seem well adjusted. Ex-wife has wealthy parents who picks up the tab for ex wifes expenses and I am never asked, consulted before these decisions are made and get 1/2 of these medical bills whether I agree to them or not. She has primary custody including legal and I have visitation two weekends a month, half the summer, half of holidays and every Wednesday night. I am asking this question on my husbands behalf. I am his current wife.

He needs to go back to court and ask for relief. It would be best if he went back and asked for joint legal custody. Then it would be illegal for her to get psych treatment without his consent or a court order.
