Stop paying Child Support if I give up my Parental Rights?

I am working with a NUT for a Mother of my child. She is putting me in harms way with the threats of violence and the courts won't do a thing about it. She uses my child as a weapon and refuses to let me see her when it is my time for visitation. I can't take it any more. I just want to be done with her and this whole situation. If I relinquish my parental rights to my child, do I have to still pay child support?
