Legal Question in Family Law in California

Stopping Child Support

How can I have child support stopped through the District Attorney's office? I have sole custody of my child and I chose not to use my attorney. I was told I needed a release from my attorney to do this myself. Is this true? What is the process to get this done?

While you are represented by an attorney the state law prevents other attorney's from discussing the matter with you.
