student loans my wife incurred

If my wife and I are going to get a divorce and she obtained student loans to finish her degree i am not on any of the loans am not going to benefit from the potential income in the future i live in california what happens?

Student loans are typically the separate debt of the person who incurred them. There are sevearal factors that may influence this though, if the marriage was long term or any other prior agreements.

There are some books you can read to help you work this out in your local law library.
