Legal Question in Family Law in California
I submitted this yesterday and did not get a response yet, why not? I will ask again, have been married for 14 years, on title with husband for mortgage, thinking of going off title to increase chances for transfer mortgage, house bought after married. if ever get divorce will I still be entitled to half the house? I live in Canada. please answer this as your website says

You need to repost this in the category for Canada, not California. California law would only apply if you were getting divorced in California. Another issue is where the property is located. I can also tell from the facts that you have posted that you would be better off consulting over the phone or in person with an attorney.
If you live in Canada, California law would have NOTHING to do with your divorce or your property distribution. That is why you did not get an answer.
