Legal Question in Family Law in California
I need to subpoena bank and Brokerage records from my husbands accounts. Is it tricky to fill out forms? Do they need to be filed at court house and then sent to financial institution? If so do I need extra copies for court to keep? Is there a court charge? THANKS

You can try to hire a company to subpoena the documents for you. Another option would be to check out the local Nolo books on how to perform discovery for yourself. There are several rules you need to follow to perform a subpoena correctly. Namely there needs to be personal service.
For self represented individuals you can consult with the family law facilitator self help center at your local court house.
As always please consult a local attorney prior to taking legal action. Good luck. Also please check out my Santa Clara County Family Lawyer blog.
