can my ex sue for higher alimony because new wife has a 3 million dollar estate

No. Alimony is based on the standard of living during the marriage and the paying spouse's ability to pay from their own funds. An ex spouse does not get to piggyback onto the other ex spouse's new spouse's wealth.

A small qualification to Mr. McCormick's answer would rest on the fact that if your ex is now predominately using his income as "walk around money", there might be an argument to make that he has far more disposable income that would still be appropriate for sustaining you at the marital standard of living.
