Legal Question in Family Law in California

I was sued for divorce in Riverside County, California. I moved out of there the day after being served. I never showed up for anything (I don't even know if I had to be there). Most likely I never will (unless I REALLY really had to), I live time zones away. I just searched the case number online, and there's a hearing scheduled for late January 2013. Judgement has been entered... whatever that means. MY QUESTION IS: Around when could I expect to be fully divorced? (If I just keep not showing up) and more importantly: how can I speed up the process?

Thanks a million to whoever answers.

The quickest way is to respond and come to an agreement that the both of you sign and submit to the judge.

If judgment has been entered, then you may very well already be divorced. I would suggest you contact the court to obtain a copy of the judgment submitted. If nothing else find a local attorney to help you. :-D. Good luck!

The judgment could contain a division of assets or debts not to your liking. Time to meet with an experienced family as attorney to sort this out
