Legal Question in Family Law in California

What do you suggest if I am and my daughter are being harassed from several social networking sites and by emails by someone claiming to be a family member of ex-husband from 13-14 years ago. I have sole custody and there NO VISITATIONS OR SUPPORT. They want to meet with my daughter or they are going to court. My daughter is adamant she never wants to meet him.

This sounds like a prank of some sort. Unless the person seeking contact is actually your daughter's father it is highly unlikely that a petition to modify the visitation order could be filed by anyone else. Grandparents have no rights to visitation beyond that of the child's biological parent. If relatives of your daughter's father would like to have contact with her, it has to be through you, as long as she is a minor, and with your permission and consent.

I recommend contacting the internet service provider to find out who is actually behind all of this. You may want to contact a family law attorney about contacting your daughter's father on your behalf and asking that this conduct cease.
