Legal Question in Family Law in California

Summary Adjudication in Dissolution Proceeding

Can a party file a motion for summary adjudication in a dissolution proceeding? We have a dispute over characterization of property as separate vs. community. I think the facts are undisputed, but that the application of the law is the issue. I think that if the court ruled in my favor on one of these motions, the other party would fold and settle.
