Supobenas

The sheriffs have tried to servve a supobena to my sister to appear in court on a domestic issue, she has not been served nor does she want to be served, but a detective told me they would issue a body attachment .What is this and how does it work

A body attachment is a court order for law enforcement to pickup and hold the person until they appear in court and testify. In my experience a body attachment is issued if the person has been served with a subpoena and has not appeared in court. Your sister should consult with an attorney as to her rights and how to deal with this situation.
