support (child & spousal)

If two people marry and husband is already paying child and/or spousal support, can the support be increased based on the combined income of the new couple?

No. A new spouse is not legally obligated to support a child of another so their income is not counted.

The new spouse income is used only for determining the actual amount of income tax paid by the supporting spouse.
