Suspension of business license

I have received a notice of supension of my business license, for failure to pay my monthly child support. My payments are $1,776 per month and my business (real estate appraiser) has been bad for the past 2 years and I have gotten behind (arrears approx $25,000) how can i negotiate a partial payment plan and aviod suspension, this is my only means of income

You should retain an attorney to modify your child support and set a payment plan on your arrearages. You could try this yourself, but would probably come to a more favorable result with an attorney. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

It appears as though there has been a substantial change in circumstances that warrants modification of child support. You may be able to have you support obligations reduced. Please do not hesitate to contact me or another attorney to discuss this matter.
