Legal Question in Family Law in California

Hi, am a syrian guy who run away from syria. and i have B1/B2 Visa to the US. how can i be able to work and live in the US

my brother was arrested 2 times, alot of my friends died during the Violence in syria. i have alot of friend whos arrested and we still have no idea were they are.
