Taking Child out of state

I am a single mother of two children wanting to leave my boyfriend in California to live with my parents in Arizona. We have no custody arrangements and he is against me moving, what are the consequenses I face for just up and leaving?

The consequences range from having to return the child back to California to arrest for child stealing. You should consult with an attorney before you move.
