Taking 15 and 17 year old shared custody boys to Europe

I have a trip planned to Europe for two weeks - in three weeks and my ex-husband does not want the boys to go- he is claiming ''fearful'' of terrorists. What can I do? We have shared legal and physical custody. The trip is paid for, we are going to France - 1 week on a barge and 1 week in Paris

You need to go immediately to court to obtain an order that you can take the children. You will need an order shortening time and should retain a family law attorney that practices in the court where your case is filed. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
