Legal Question in Family Law in California

Temp spousal support

I want it to be known I am not looking for a free ride. I do not like asking for help. However, I had a good job which I lost because I have major depression and then I obtained another position which I lost because they did not need me. Shortly after I lost my first job, I found myself all alone and having to support myself completely because my husband wanted a divorce. I am only concerned and scared that I wont be able to find another job or one that pays enough in time to pay my rent etc. I don't always want to sponge of of spousal support. We have been married 11 years. What are the names of the forms one has to file for temporary spousal support?

Re: Temp spousal support

First, file a petition for dissolution or, if he has already filed a petition, you should file a response. At the same time, file an Order to Show Cause and check the box for spousal support and explain to the court why you need spousal support.

If you can't afford to pay the filing fees, also draft and file a Request for Fee Waiver.
