terminating parental rights???
my ex-wife just got married and now is going to adopt my son to her new husband we both agreed on it. she asked if I can give up my parental rights to make everything easier. she lives in virginia this way she doent have to wait for me on this end. I was just woundering how can I go about doing this?

Terminating parental rights is a drastic step, and will result in your having no contact with your son. In making this decision the affect on your son should be considered.
If you are in deed intent on giving up your parental rights then contact the loacl department of social services and enquire about signing a relinquishment to allow an out of state adoption of your child.
