Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am thinking about getting a divorce and my husband says that I cannot leave the state if we do. We live in California because he is in the navy. If we divorced, I would need to move with my parents for a while. They live in Connecticut. We have a 1 year old daughter. Is this true?
