what is the time line for 'recent abuse' when it relates to a DVRO in California.

I'm not sure what you mean by "timeline." If you mean how recent does the abuse need to be, it should be more than a week or so old.

If you have been a victim of past abuse that could reasonably be anticipated as occurring again because you are pursuing divorce, child custody or some other legal action, this abuse history may justify an issuance of restraining orders by the court.
