Legal Question in Family Law in California

over the course of time of 10 months my signifiant other has obtain joint custody and legal with his childs mother.Within the weekends and one mid week sleep over and plus all the sick time his son has been sick he had 64%. The last stipulation order he became the primary caretaker with the same times frame they agree on. But what rights and responsibities come with him being primary caretaker, since she is from stanislaus county and his from san joaquin CA and i know shes on aid, so how will that come out to be ? As he also wants to ask if he can change his sons school since he spends more time over this county ? Thanks in advance for your time and efforts

He should file a request for order to change child support and the visitation schedule. Notice of the request for order should be served on her and the Stanislaus County Department of Child Support Services. He should also request a change in school, provide information about the new school.

Parenting responsibility are the same throughout California.
