the father of my children has taken a job as a waiter. He is making the largest amount through tips! these tips are reported for taxes, but are not handled by the office as pr. actually holding in hand.Consequently, the support amount is small.at the time of the court support order he had a much better job and chose to step down so as to pay less support.(his exact words)It would be to wonderfull if his tips were garnishable.is their a posability? p.s. the support is sent directly to me.

Re: Tip Garnishment

You can file a motion with the court to modify your child support based on the tip money and if he does not pay the new court ordered amount you can file an Order to Show Cause re Contempt of Court.
