Legal Question in Family Law in California
I had a TRO in family court created against me in 2008 right after I filed for divorce. Once I obtained an attorney, the respondent dropped the TRO and the court created a non-clets ruling for a stay away order for both of us. Divorce was dissolved in 2009. My question is when I look at the status of the TRO specifically when the Respondent dropped it the status shows orders issued. Shouldn't it say denied or dropped? The reason I ask is that the Respondents attorney for the past 5 years keeps bringing up the point that he has been a Pro Bono for the Respondent to protect her from me due to the TRO. I don't know if I can ever get the other party from ongoing merit-less accusations and just want to clear my name from the record especially since there was never any evidence of the false statements in the TRO. This TRO has ruined my life and just want to move on if I ever can get the chance.

You answered your own question. Orders were issued because the court made a non-clets order. That's the order.
