Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can I get in trouble for posting pictures of my ex-step kids online?

I have an online album on ''MySpace'' that has pictures of my ex boyfriend's children (which I raised for 5 years and am still very much in their lives) in it. There is nothing wrong in the pictures. They are just average everyday pictures of the kids (i.e. birthdays, roasting hot dogs on the campfire, Halloween, etc.). The mother knew about the pictures and has even left comments on how nice the pics are and has even copied some of them to her own albums. Now she is trying to raise the issue in court with the father of the children that I did not have her consent. This doesn't even have anything to do with the issue of why they are in court (she has lost her visitation and is trying to regain it). The father has sole physical custody of the children. Can I get in trouble for this being that she knew about it and never asked me to remove them?

Minors cannot give legal consent for your to post the pictures, only their parent's can. Sounds like mom has revoked her consent. Can your get in trouble for posting them anyway? I suppose it depends on what trouble means to you. It sounds like it causing your ex trouble right now, fair or not. You should also review the myspace guidelines.
