Legal Question in Family Law in California

My twin sister just had her baby and due to drug use cps took her away.So i would like to know what i am going to need to do to get custody of her daughter.. ?

Contact the social worker handling your sister's case and tell him/her that you would like to get custody of your niece. If your sister is living with you, it is not likely the social worker will approve this. You will also have to follow strict guidelines about allowing your sister to visit the baby. Good Luck.
