Legal Question in Family Law in California

what type of evidence should i provide in my responce to a tro dv that my ex hit me with stating that i abuse her and the kids which i have never done and also stating that she is in fear for her life but she left and seeked help from a shelter and wasnt suppose to have contact with me. she called about 6 days before she filed this and had me take her and the kids to the doctors.
