Legal Question in Family Law in California

thank u so do i understand u right he filed for divorce in feb 2004 and on march n212006 the judge granted the disolument of the marriage we then married on july 4 2006. but on his paper work it says oct 25 2006 is when the divorce would be final now after 5 yrs they are going to nevada to void my marriage because they say his papers his divorce was not final until oct 25 2006. what can to do to help me keep my husband name and our marriage.

You claim you were a "putative spouse" and proceed. You should get an attorney. This is complicated stuff.

If you were married in California, the marriage is invalid. You can, however, as one attorney suggested, claim "putative spouse" status. You need an attorney NOW.
