Legal Question in Family Law in California

unable to locate spouse

I am unable to locate spouse to serve divorce papers. Last address is now a vacant home. No forwarding address, no phone numbers. How can I get my divorce thru if I can't serve him?

You can still get a divorce. You can get permission to serve him by publication. Then, after you serve him that way, you proceed by default. If you can't afford an attorney, you should go to your local law library to find books on how to do this.
