Uncontested divorce
Does a person who married and within 24 hours was
left by other party, who obviosly only married to
gain citizenship and has not been seen since. Are normal procedures on filing for divorce and 6 month waiting period, to finalize,required.

File for an annulment. The marriage was made under false pretenses. If granted an annulment it will also defeat the departing person's attempt to gain citizenship.
