Legal Question in Family Law in California

Unreimbursed co payments

My Ex is trying to bill me for un reimbursed co payments for prescription drugs she had purchased over the last year for our daughter. Is there a time period that must be followed or can she save everything up and then bill me at once. I was under the impression that she had to bill me within 30 days of the tranaction vs letting the tab build and then billing me.

You should consult the terms of your judgment or current order for how repayment for medical expenses are repaid.

Good luck.

Re: Unreimbursed co payments

The family code requires that these requests for payment of co-payment must be presented within a specified time after received. She cannot hold them and then dump them on you.
